There are the original Intex filters that came w/ my pool/pump, not the cheap (and I don't mean price) A/C replacement filters that you buy at the big discount store. I had been buying those (@ $5 a piece) and they only lasted a few days. The paper got all brown and no matter how often I washed them out - they just didn't last. Plus the chemicals (I used the tablets you drop down inside the filter) didn't disperse as well.

These filters are great. They are a heavier paper. I rinse the filter off everyday (to get the bugs/debris out) and the filter will last at least a week. The chemicals disperse much more evenly.

These 12 packs make the filters much less expensive that the cheaper ones at the discount store. I will continue to buy these, although as long as these are lasting, I'll still have some of these left over to start using next spring.

"You can't beat this price. It comes out to $2.92 ea filter. My filters say they are Intex filters. Made in china(What's not nowadays). Even Walmart does not have filters in stock this year as well as pool supply stores in my area. Walmart online price went up from last year was 2 for $10.00 this year 2 for $15.00. If you can wait a couple of days and need type A filters this is the best value. This price included shipping at an extra 5$ which is included in the ea price above.I have had the filters for about a month now and I'm still using the first 2. When I take them out I Jet spray them with the hose and they come out very clean again. This is one of the best deals I think on Amazon right now.

Great set of filters. Even though I bought mine non amazon prime it still came really fast. The price is excellent and they are definately the REAL Intex filters. Great product!
