Purchased this based on positive reviews. I received what appeared to be a dirty, used item. After washing, a long line remained. It was a deep stratch with metal flaking off. My turner was not stainless steel, but a coated metal of some sort. I received a credit!!

This and it's slotted sibling are two of the most useful kitchen utensils I've ever owned. Fit in pans other spatulas can't; slightly sharp and angled edge adds tremendous functionality with a variety of foods and situations.

I am happy with my purchase. This Miu France is made in China, but it looks decent. The steel is a bit on the thin side, and I would think a bit too flexible, but I don' t abuse it. The handle feels solid with very sturdy rivets and it will most likely outlive the blade. If I am to guess, this will die by a fracture close to the handle.

I use it primarily for breakfast, eggs and bacon. It does a good job, but the eggs do stick to it and it requires quite a bit of scrubbing, which strains the metal more than the actual cooking. I am still experimenting with it( have just had it for one mo). i will try preheating the blade before it touches the eggs and see what happens.

Again, fairly happy, but don' t have hopes it will last more than a couple of years.
